Rodolfo Bonetto (1929–1991) was a renowned Italian industrial designer known for his innovative, functional, and human-centered approach to design. Originally trained as a jazz drummer, Bonetto brought a rhythmic and intuitive sensibility to his work, which spanned automotive, consumer electronics, and furniture design. He collaborated with major brands like Fiat, Brionvega, and Siemens, and was celebrated for creating products that balanced technological innovation with everyday usability. A key figure in post-war Italian design, Bonetto received numerous accolades, including eight Compasso d’Oro awards, and was known for his motto “Design is what improves life.”
